2020 BMW M8 Coupe in Frozen Marina Bay Blue – Best Color Yet?
While the 2020 BMW M8 Coupe celebrated its premiere this past June at NextGen, that hasn’t stopped the Bavarians for putting it up on display at the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show. And to do so, they went for the Frozen Marina Bay Blue, one of the BMW Individual colors available for the BMW M8.
The BMW M8 Coupe comes with typical BMW M colors, such as Brilliant Black and Donington Grey. However, there are a few others which are really quite special. The Almond Brown metallic, Motegi Red and Brands Hatch Grey are all new, though, and look quite good. There are even two Individual colors available; Aventurine Red and Frozen Bluestone Metallic.
This particular BMW M8 Coupe is featured in Frozen Marina Blue.
Apparently, there are over 53,000 possible combinations for the BMW M8 Individual (like Urban Green), with 84 exterior paint colors to choose from, including 57 metallic options, 26 Uni paints, and one Frozen hue.
On the inside, there’s the same black, brown and “Silverstone” leather options, along with such wild color combinations as Ivory White/Tartufo, Midland Beige and Ivory White/Midnight Blue.
The BMW M8 starts at $133,000 in the US for the Coupe and goes up to $142,500 for the Convertible. Get the Competition models and you’re looking at $146,000 for the Coupe and $155,500 for the drop top. Those are just starting prices though. If you dip too deep into the Individual range, things can get pretty spicy in a hurry.
The power is provided by a 4.4 liter V8 TwinTurbo engine. With its 625 hp and 750 Newton meters of torque, the BMW M8 Competition is always to conquer the road.
